Director/Tutor Will has worked in education for 20 years and has worked on early years projects all the way through to adults with dementia. Well travelled, Will's favourite parts of the world are Japan and Patagonia. A multi-instrumentalist, he is currently drumming for The Shake Repeat, teaching guitar and drums, running a radio station and enjoying life by the sea. Father of 4, BA Honours Digital Arts

Director/Tutor Paul is an experienced educator, musician, artist and explorer of all things technical and creative. As well as being one of the Directors of Lab Media, he is also the safeguarding lead. His current musical outlets include playing drums for The Dove and Boweevil Band and Lucy Grubb. During lockdown Paul created Verse Converse. Father of 3, Cert Education & Training

Director Mary is an artist, music producer, educator and maker of immersive shows. She has been making music in one way or another for most of her life. As an established community musician she describes this as her first home. Mary brings the ethos of holding a space for others to safely and playfully explore music making into her own personal artistic practice. BA Honours Degree in Popular Music Practice & Masters Degree in Creative Music Production.

Tutor Working for a number of organisations with children and young people, many of whom are autistic, have additional needs, or are out of school for a variety of reasons, Kirsten encourages and supports creativity and learning through exploring digital technology. Kirsten also troubles the baritone saxophone for cross-channel ferry fog-horn sounds and builds absurd electronic musical instruments which create a dreadful racket. Tutor A Jyl of all trades, Jyl focuses her artistic energy into exploring everything from silversmithing to blacksmithing, sculpture to textiles, design to DIY. Her love of cardboard remains strong. Jyl is passionate about creativity and its therapeutic benefits. She sings with a vintage covers trio. Her 45-year career spans special schools, prisons, hospitals, hostels, youth clubs, play schemes, and specialist drop-in centres. BA Visual Studies, mother to one grown-up daughter.

Tutor Kate is a musician and craftsperson. She has been working in arts education for 20 years, mostly delivering 1-1 support for young people with additional needs. She plays flute, bass and concertina and enjoys making useful and beautiful things. Mother of 2, BA Visual Studies, PGCE

Tutor Danny is a game developer with 5 years of experience running an indie games studio, Rubber Ducky Snacks. Producing games led him to teaching others; he has run workshops educating both young learners and adults. He has worked on many strange projects, such as a game controlled by your ears. Always up for learning and using any creative technology, Danny enjoys nothing more than creating and teaching others how to make games and interactive experiences. BSc Computer Games Production

Tutor Adam is a self-taught, technically minded enthusiast with a real passion for creative learning. He has worked with children of all ages for the past 14 years, taking a fun, exciting, and hands-on approach to education. Skilled in game design, 3D printing, AI, and everything in between, Adam brings creativity and practical knowledge to every project. He is also a proud father of two.
